Lately, I've fallen behind on a lot of the videos I wanted to watch. I also have missed a lot of videos related to artificial intelligence. I took such a long break from learning about it over the summer of 2025. Now I am back at it. I am also struggling to recover some of my focus when it comes to watching videos and visual media of that sort. Coding, reading, writing, etc for long periods of time don't befuddle me. I do find myself easily distracted when I try to watch the average YouTube video, though.
Most people watch videos when they are doing other things, and this might, in fact, be why. I prefer subtitles, so it can be difficult for me to watch videos without devoting my entire attention to them. Here, I am including (first) some listings of interesting YouTube I watched videos about artificial intelligence. Secondly, I'm including my Soon to Watch file. It's not all the videos I hope to get through about artificial intelligence, just most of them, and I hope you'll participate in adding to it.
Many, many of these videos may contain unsettling material. They vary in quality. I can't say I endorse them all, but they're at least interesting and I think that merits sharing them here, worth watching. Some are exceedingly critical of artificial intelligence and what it's doing to the internet. Few offer many perspectives on paths forward.
I am adding some that take a melodramatic approach, too, talking about doom robots from the future and all that. But it's not because I think they're correct. Just trying to be a bit comprehensive. I will hopefully organize these better later on.
Needless to say, I didn't make any of these videos.
